Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physicians Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering patient-centered care, focusing on preventive medicine, longevity strategies, and wellness optimization as well as some administrative work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
- Aid in the development and implementation of personalized treatment plans with a focus on longevity, preventive care, and wellness.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood work, imaging, and specialized screenings.
- Provide guidance on lifestyle modifications, nutrition, supplements, and integrative therapies.
- Administer testing and monitor patients during advanced functional testing of all aspects of optimal health
- Maintain clear and thorough records of all tests and results
- Communicate reasoning for testing and explain to patients what is required of them while monitoring for strict adherence to testing protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and wellness professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients on proactive health strategies, disease prevention, and longevity-focused interventions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in longevity medicine and integrative healthcare.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines.
- Assist members with implementing care plans
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physicians Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) with active certification in New York.
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program or PA Degree
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in integrative, functional, or preventive medicine.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first approach.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and at an early stage start up.
- Passion for longevity, wellness, and evidence-based preventive medicine.
- Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team
