Vital Life Wellness Center is a privately owned family practice established almost a decade ago in the San Antonio area by Dr. Bernice Gonzalez, who is known as the city’s most recognized functional medicine doctor. As a family wellness-oriented practice, we are growing on a sustained rhythm. We have two locations in the city of San Antonio; the first close to the downtown area at Broadway and the second in the north side of the city at 1604 & Blanco. Our third location is in Austin, Texas.
We have been serving our community by providing high-quality services based on the pillars of health in functional medicine and guiding our patients through the process of recovering their health, preventing illness, and managing their chronic health conditions.
Currently, VLWC has a staff of 2 medical doctors and 7 nurse practitioners. Our patient population is approximately 17,000, and we are growing steadily at approximately 200 new patients per month. VLWC accepts most major insurances.
Our service operation hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and Saturdays for hormone replacement therapy clinic from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Every provider will see approximately 18 to 20 patients per day in a full-day clinic.
VLWC is seeking a clinician board-certified in family medicine with experience in women’s health.
Our ideal candidate will be a nurse practitioner trained in family medicine, with interest in preventive medicine, women and men’s health, regenerative, and anti-aging medicine. Preferably board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine or pursuing this certification and willing to continue learning about functional medicine. Committed to working with a team of providers engaged to impact the community by creating a culture of awareness of wellness and prevention.
