Registered Dietitian
Our practice is growing at True Health Center for Precision Medicine (THCPM)! We are seeking a passionate, experienced Functional Medicine Registered Dietitian (RDN) who is driven to provide patient-centered care, wants to participate in an innovative, transformative model of Functional Medicine and Integrative Care with the intention of collaborating with a team of like-minded healthcare professionals.
We are a full-service, membership-based, Functional Medicine center in the Sacramento-region. We offer our patients a designated physician, Dietitian, and Health Coach to optimally support their healing journey for life-changing results. Our mission is to provide quality care using the foundation of Functional Medicine, lifestyle and root cause medicine, to reverse some or all damages of chronic diseases, treating patients on an individualized case-by-case basis, and providing answers and solutions to our patients.
The ideal candidate to join our team:

- Compassionate, enthusiastic, adaptable, flexible, and willing to learn.
- Has a Bachelor’s degree and completion of an American Dietetic Association (ADA) approved dietetic internship.
- Trained in integrative and functional nutrition.
- Excellent facilitator and communicator.
- Has a team approach and willing to collaborate.
- Able to engage patients in embracing responsibility for their personal health and healing, and in supporting patients’ behavioral and diet change.
- Committed to on-going program development, practice growth and expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Able to work at least three full days a week.
- Provides a comprehensive assessment of nutritional status, determines patient’s nutrient needs, and develops a comprehensive plan of care using an integrative and functional approach.
- Prepared to learn about treatment interventions and protocol guidelines that have been created at THCFM to know when and how to recommend them.
- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team individually and in group meetings in recommending, implementing, and monitoring of nutrition interventions.
- Documents care in the medical record.
- Provides ongoing or follow-up care according to established time frames and reassessment criteria.
Requirements:
- Specific education or training in integrative and functional nutrition with eagerness to continue to learn.
- The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree and completion of an American Dietetic Association (ADA) approved dietetic internship.
- At least two years of clinical experience post-internship preferred.
Highly Preferred:
- Completion of a comprehensive integrative & functional nutrition training program (I.e. IFNA, Next Level Functional Nutrition, etc.)

Who We Are:
True Health Center for Precision Medicine has been in business for 7 years and was founded by Medical Director, Kristine Burke, MD who has owned a private practice for over 25 years. Dr Burke originally started her career in conventional medicine, but discovered a rekindled passion for medicine when introduced to Functional Medicine, and its tremendous outcomes for her patients’ health. Seeing that this was the future (and the past) of medicine, she knew she had to create a practice that was patient-centered and individualized, focused on the ‘why’ not the ‘what’, and had the opportunity to grow with the cutting-edge research and precision medicine findings to provide the most up-to-date care to our patients.
As a group, we have cultivated an incredible team of providers and staff and have an excellent work culture of support and collaboration to achieve the best for our patient-members. As the demand for Functional Medicine increases with the current state of healthcare, our center is growing rapidly. We’re the largest Functional Medicine private practice in the Sacramento area and we look forward to continuing to grow our practice to help many more people back to health, to regain control of their lives and to create lasting relationships.
