About this position

We are looking for a Wellness Assistant for a medical wellness practice. This position would include:
Answer phone
Greet patients
Handle correspondence
Manage electronic files and medical records
Create office documents
Assist with documentation of meetings
Scheduling appointments
Ordering pharmacy and labs
Collect payments and bookkeeping
Manage supplies
Prepare rooms for examination
Assist doctor during diagnostic exams and procedures
Be familiar with Apple computers and computer programs QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.

Have basic medical terminology
Communicate in a friendly and effective manner with all walks of life

Stay focused and on task with minimal oversight

Able to work a few evenings per week
Able to travel a few times per year for team training and development
Embrace living a healthy lifestyle and Anti-Aging/Functional Medicine (seeking optimal health as one ages and getting to the root cause of health issues)
Have a great attitude to learn and grow both personally and professionally
Have interest in building a career and not just a short-term job (Minimal experience will be considered. Please do not apply if you are currently in school for a different career as we are looking for someone to fill this position for the long term.)
