Functional Medicine Office Practice Manager

Shine Functional Health is looking for a highly motivated Practice Manager to lead our team, optimize daily operations, and play a key role in strategic growth.

Shine Functional Health is a boutique medical practice based in Buffalo Grove, IL, offering cutting-edge precision and cellular medicine for over 8 years. Led by Dr. Alison Lechner, a board-certified family and bariatric physician and certified through the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), we take a personalized, systems-based approach to helping patients restore optimal health and performance. Our team includes a full-time functional nutritionist and two part-time nurses. We offer a wide range of services including physician visits, nutritional consultations, IV/IM therapy, peptide and hormone therapy.  Our mission is to deliver personalized, data-driven care that targets cellular function, metabolic resilience, and long-term vitality. We aim to help each patient move beyond symptom management and toward true health restoration—physically, mentally, and metabolically.

As our patient demand continues to grow, we are looking for a Practice Manager to help us expand our impact while staying true to our mission and vision.  As Practice Manager, you will serve as the operational backbone of the clinic—supporting both the team and leadership in delivering exceptional care and improving every facet of the patient experience.

• Key Responsibilities
• Inspire and support the team to continue delivering exceptional, personalized care
• Oversee operations including scheduling, staffing, billing, inventory, and compliance
• Streamline workflows and introduce systems to improve efficiency and reduce friction
• Drive growth initiatives in collaboration with clinical leadership
• Cultivate a positive, mission-aligned team culture that supports both patient outcomes and staff satisfaction
• Ensure a consistent, high-quality experience across every patient touchpoint

Qualifications

• Prior experience in medical or wellness practice management
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Confident decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with EMR systems and understanding of medical billing
• Passion for wellness, innovation, and delivering transformative healthcare
