Functional Medicine Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – Part Time

We seek a motivated Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner who is IFM certified or in training for IFM certification in Sherman Oaks CA.  Our Patient load is intentionally low with 7-9 patients a day and up to 45- 60 minutes per patient. The candidate needs to have an Active California state license and this is an Onsite In Person position.

•  who have Education/experience with treating complex chronic illness from an Integrative or Functional Medicine approach
• that are coachable and ready to incorporate our protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform health exams and assessments based on IFM and medical standard of care
• Order and interpret appropriate lab tests to find root causes of a patient’s health difficulties
• Diagnose and treat patient conditions with emphasis on lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team for well-balanced patient health
• Prescribe supplements and medical treatments and provide comprehensive guidance
• Be willing to learn and incorporate new protocols and technology into current practices
• Maintain organized and up to date records for each patient adhering to HIPAA rules
• Communicate in a friendly and respectful manner with staff and outside practitioners
• Keep up to date with integrative, functional and standard medical knowledge through ongoing education
• Be excellent at written portal communication between visits for patients
• Is familiar with nutritional guidance for patients and is easily able to spend up to an hour per patient visit

Pay/Benefits

Part Time – starting off at 16 hrs per week with the goal of 24- 32 hrs a week in a few months
Pay is $70-80 an hour with yearly bonus ( depending on quality of work)
