Physician (MD/DO)
If you’re interested in working in functional medicine as a Medical Doctor or Osteopathic Physician, the Riordan Clinic would be interested in speaking with you! The person we are looking to hire will be located in Wichita, Kansas which is in Sedgwick County. Wichita is the largest city in Kansas, but maintains a small town feel. It has a relatively low cost of living, great schools, great culture, minor league hockey, baseball and soccer. The community is a metropolitan area with many smaller suburban areas surrounding it that is home to about 397,000 people, boasts 3 universities and the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Major businesses in Wichita include many aerospace manufacturing companies, Koch, HCA and Ascension Via Christi making healthcare the second largest industry in the city.
Position details:
- Collaborates with other clinical service providers to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Responsibilities include performing complete health histories, conducting physical exams and reviewing the exam data, and ordering and interpreting laboratory to determine root cause analysis of the conditions being treated to identify the best course of treatment
- Counsels co-learners in regards to their diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment interventions that might be appropriate
- Orders and administers treatments such as Prolozone/PRP injections, Acupuncture, Intravenous Vitamin C, Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation and other ozone therapies, Chelation, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Poly MVA, Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide, Hydrogen Peroxide, Glutathione, Mistletoe, Helleborus and, Thermography
- Coordinates care with referring physicians, traditional oncologists, specialists, etc.
Actively contributes to growing the practice by speaking at conferences, publishing whitepapers, books, and research; prepares content for newsletters and blogs; participates in podcasts - Clinic professional staff includes an MD Chief Medical Officer, an MD Laboratory Director, three FABNO certified Naturopathic Oncologist, seven Nurses, four Medical Assistants, and three Phlebotomists

- Two locations which provide services for more than 3,500 patients annually
- The clinic provides nutrient testing and has an on-site laboratory
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree (MD or DO) or equivalent; three to five years of experience in integrative healthcare preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- MATC certification preferred
- Registered or eligible to register as a Physician in the state of Kansas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS) required
