Job Description: 

Next Health is seeking a Full-Time Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner with a strong interest in health, wellness & longevity to join our team. The ideal candidate is an advanced provider with strong clinical and leadership skills, experience in hormone management, a passion for functional medicine, and the ability to help grow our practices while working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities & Expectations: 

• Provide care and management for hormone patients including inserting hormone pellets.
• Oversee direction and supervision of:
  All nursing staff including providing guidance and training.
  Patient flow and communication.
  IV Therapy and Lab draws.
• Available to support the broader team with any medical support questions/emergencies.
• Assist with difficult IV starts and lab draws.
• Perform advanced medical wellness treatments to include cellular therapies and Ozone.
• Lab results review and recommendations.
• Supervise lab specimen processing.
• Supervise the maintenance of medical supplies and IV ingredients (quantity and safety).
• Maintain all IV logs and DEA binders.
• Adverse reaction management of all procedures on-site.
• GFE for procedures (aesthetics included).
• Follow up on patient calls and questions promptly as well as following up with patients post consultations.

Required Qualifications/Experience

• Licensed California Nurse Practitioner in good standing with 3+ years of experience in a functional medicine environment.
• Experience in hormone management including inserting hormone pellets.
• Venipuncture and IV Therapy administration.
• Strong clinical and leadership skills.
• Passion for functional medicine.
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
