Functional Nutritionist for a Functional Medicine Clinic

Job Description:

Newbridge Health & Wellness is an integrative and functional medicine practice located in Edina, Minnesota. Newbridge is looking for a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with a passion for functional medicine and integrative health and wellness. This new team member will have excellent communication skills and be responsible for leading patient consultations, including prompt follow up on charting and answering patient questions. This person will enjoy being an active contributor in a team environment including working with NP and MD medical practitioners and comfortable communicating in a group setting including leading education and support groups. This position requires a self-starting individual with high levels of organization skills, attention to detail, and resourcefulness.

Required Skills:

• Bachelors or master’s degree in Nutrition / Dietetics or equivalent
• Experience, training and/or certification as a health coach
• Experience with Electronic Health Records
• Experience in wellness or healthcare environments
• Strong Microsoft Word and Excel and G Suite (Google Docs, Sheets) skills

Preferred Skills:

• Advanced degree or schooling in Functional Medicine, Health Coaching, Integrative Health; Content creation including demonstrated skills in writing, blogging, or publishing articles
• Proficiency in social media promotion including Facebook
• Effective public speaker

Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing care for patients in the capacity of advanced nutrition and health coaching
• Collaboratively contribute across a cross-functional working environment
• Remain informed of various topics in regard to healthcare, nutrition and wellness
• Organize and implement treatment plans and patient protocols
• Writing contributions and editing
• Eloquently and effectively communicate with provider and support teams, and partner to provide updates and clarification for on-going projects
• Provide recommendations and proactively participate in blog writing, events, and presentations
