Certified Nurse Practitioner
Position Summary
The Nurse Practitioner at MP Health, PC is responsible for delivering excellent patient care under the supervision of a collaborating physician. The ideal candidate for this role has a passion for holistic and functional medicine with a focus in clinical procedures and hormone therapy as well as a strong background administering IV infusions. Daily Duties include patient consultations, charting/recording patient visit notes and medical histories, patient care follow-up, creating and following up with treatment plans, performing clinical procedures and administering IV infusions.
Priority tasks
- Initial patient consultations
- Recording/charting patient visit notes and medical histories
- Diagnosing Health issues
- Creating and following up on patient treatment plans
- Ordering and reviewing Lab work
- Identifying changes in patient health and modifying treatment plans as needed
- Performing clinical procedures to include Joint and facet injections as well as subcutaneous pellet implantations
- Administering IV infusions and monitoring patients during treatment
- Prescribing and following up with medications and peptides
Position Requirements and Qualifications
- Graduate Degree from an accredited Nursing School
- Active License to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Indiana
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal, required
- Strong organizational skills required
- 2+ years of clinical work experience (Preferred)
- Strong background or interest in Holistic and Functional Medicine (Preferred)
- Strong background in administering infusions (preferred)
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced working environment
- Ability to function well within a team
