Marin Natural Medicine Clinic is seeking a licensed naturopathic doctor to join our established practice in Marin County, California. Our clinic has been serving the community for 18 years and is known for a warm, supportive environment and a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to care. The administrative staff is experienced and friendly, and the clinic is beautifully decorated within a Class A medical building. We also operate a dedicated IV suite staffed by an experienced nurse, offering a range of advanced IV protocols to support patient treatment plans. The clinic is conveniently located across from the Marin Country Mart, which offers excellent options for lunch and coffee breaks.
About the Role
The naturopathic doctor will provide direct patient care, partner with patients to address a wide range of health concerns, and deliver individualized, evidence-informed treatment plans. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term patient relationships, values well-organized clinical systems, and appreciates working in a calm, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Care
- Conduct comprehensive new-patient visits, including detailed medical histories and systems-based evaluations.
- Perform follow-up visits to monitor progress, refine treatment plans, and address new symptoms or concerns.
- Order and interpret foundational and advanced diagnostic testing as appropriate to the patient’s presentation.
- Develop personalized treatment plans using nutrition, herbal medicine, lifestyle recommendations, targeted nutraceutical support, and IV nutrient protocols.
- Provide clear education to patients regarding their condition, their lab results, and the rationale behind treatment recommendations.
- Documentation & Communication
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records.
- Communicate effectively with patients through the electronic medical record.
- Work collaboratively with the clinic’s administrative team to ensure smooth scheduling, follow-up, and patient flow.
- Patient Education
- Translate complex concepts into easy-to-understand guidance.
- Offer thoughtful, encouraging support as patients work toward their health goals.
- Empower patients with tools and strategies to improve overall well-being.

- Stay current with research and emerging trends in naturopathic and integrative medicine.
- Participate in team discussions, case reviews, or educational initiatives when appropriate.

QualificationsRequired
- Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine (ND) from an accredited naturopathic medical program.
- Active California naturopathic medical license (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Strong foundation in naturopathic and integrative approaches to patient care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience working in a clinical setting with direct patient care.
- Familiarity with ordering and interpreting conventional and functional lab testing.
- Training in IV nutrient therapy, or willingness to obtain certification.
