Integrative Healthcare (IHC) is a Nurse-Practitioner owned practice and business in Tallahassee, FL.  It is owned by Elizabeth Markovich, DNP, and her husband Martin.  Elizabeth is qualified to practice independently under Florida law.  She is certified by the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), one of the leading national organizations promoting scientific alternative medicine.  IFM recommends genetic, biochemical and lifestyle analysis to develop personalized treatment plans. IHC will transition to a new leadership team in the next few years.  The current plan is for Elizabeth to transition from seeing patients full time to part time.  The owners are looking for health care professionals who are comfortable with our treatment philosophy.  We would like to continue our tradition of care, and we will work together with you to achieve a gradual and smooth transition.  Our patients are used to making their own care decisions and having a collaborative relationship with their practitioner.

A successful candidate will:

• Be interested in providing holistic care
• Have a realistic understanding of the opportunities and risks associated with taking over an unconventional practice
• Have the ability to develop close relationships with IHC patients – or the ability to hire a professional who can

Besides Nurse-Practitioners, some of the professionals for whom this opportunity may be appropriate include Physicians, Chiropractors, Naturopaths, Homeopaths, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Nurse Administrators, Health Educators, Psychologists, Pharmacists, Physical Therapists (PT), Occupational Therapists (OT) and Optometrists.

We have several assets:

• Good support in billing, bookkeeping and IT services
• A popular and skilled NP associate who is working 1 day per week
• Competent staff and manager, and
• A good reputation, including positive relationships with many physicians
