Position Overview:

We are seeking a full-time, highly skilled, and compassionate Functional Medicine Practitioner to join our team at Rising Health Specialty Clinic. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients while embracing the principles of functional medicine. As a Functional Medicine Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans and support patients on their journey to improved health and vitality.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, lifestyle factors, and functional medicine laboratory testing.

• Develop personalized treatment plans based on the principles of functional medicine, incorporating dietary recommendations, lifestyle modifications, supplements, and other integrative therapies.

• Monitor and track patient progress over time, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal health outcomes.

• Educate patients on the principles of functional medicine and empower them to take an active role in their healthcare journey.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to provide coordinated and integrated care for patients.

• Stay current with the latest research and developments in the field of functional medicine, continuously expanding your knowledge base and skill set.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO, APRN, ND) from an accredited institution.

• Board certification or eligibility in a relevant specialty (e.g., family medicine, internal medicine, integrative medicine).

• Current DEA license and Current applicable licenses in the state of Utah and board certification

• 5+ years practicing medicine

• 2+ years practicing functional medicine

• Advanced training or certification in functional medicine is preferred but not required

• Excellent clinical judgment and diagnostic skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with patients.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Benefits:

• Competitive salary commensurate with experience and medical degree type. ($115,000 – $150,000)
