About the Role
Well-established small private practice seeking an experienced Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join our incredible team in a remote, patient-centered role. This is a part-time 1099 opportunity with the potential to transition into a full-time position as the Nurse Practitioner builds and maintains a full patient panel.
The ideal candidate is clinically competent, highly organized, self-driven, disciplined and passionate about root-cause, personalized care. You will work with patients virtually, delivering thoughtful, comprehensive functional medicine services while collaborating within an integrative care model.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive virtual patient visits using a functional medicine approach
- Review and interpret labs, diagnostics, and health histories
- Develop individualized, evidence-informed treatment plans
- Provide ongoing patient follow-up, education, and support
- Document care thoroughly and accurately in the EMR
- Collaborate with the broader care team as needed
- Prescribe medications as appropriate
- Build and manage a patient panel with the opportunity for increased hours over time
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania Nurse Practitioner license (required)
- IFM Certified Practitioner (required)
- Prior 1+ year experience in functional or integrative medicine required
- Prior 2+ years nurse practitioner experience in conventional medicine required
- Comfortable providing care via telehealth for adult patients
- Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, contractor role
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
