Stone Medical, Ashland’s Comprehensive Family Medicine, is seeking a Family Practice with Obstetrics AND a Family Medicine Physician to join our growing team. We’re a primary care, functional medicine practice that was established in 1974 as The Ashland Clinic by David Jones, MD.
Dr. Jones is an early co-founder and first president of the Institute for Functional Medicine. Drs. Michael and Leslie Stone joined Dr. Jones in 2000 (adding Stone Medical in 1992) and purchased the practice in 2002.
About the Practice:
Our staff consists of two full time physicians, one part time physician/medical director/educator, two part time NP/PA’s and two part time nutritionists. We are all IFMCP providers, or on the IFMCP certification track. Dr. Michael and Leslie Stone were the first two IFMCP providers in Oregon and have been practicing functional medicine in this insurance model since 1998.
Dr. Leslie Stone’s OB/FP practice is a vibrant part of the practice. Dr. Stone has attended over 5000 births, and with one of our nutritionists, Emily Rydbom, has developed our growbabyhealth program. http://growbabyhealth.com
Bill Powell, DO also brings additional expertise in osteopathic therapies. And we implement the wide range of functional medicine laboratory investigations and augment our practices with functional medicine tools.
We have many established programs including Group Medical Visits, Supplements sales, CIMT, plethysmography, heart rate variability, an in clinic blood draw site (Quest/Cleveland Heart Labs) and frequency specific microcurrent .
