The Role: Functional Medicine Practitioner
We are seeking a full-time Functional Medicine Practitioner (ND, PA, NP, DO, DC, MD, FNP, RD, CNS, RN, other) who is eager to join our growing practice helping us to achieve our mission of empowering our patients to live healthier lives. The ideal candidate will have experience in functional medicine and a passion for helping people achieve optimal health.
Role Outcomes:
- Successful management of patient follow-ups, ensuring all patients receive the care and support they need to achieve their health goals.
- Efficient ordering of supplements and labs, in line with each patient’s personalized treatment plan.
Consistent tracking of patient outcomes, with the collection of testimonials and referrals to help grow our practice.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient follow-ups, ensuring all treatment plans are being followed and making any necessary adjustments.
- Order supplements and labs as required, ensuring all orders are accurate and timely.
- Track patient outcomes and gather testimonials and referrals to support the growth of our practice.
- Collaborate with our Health Coaches, ensuring they are providing the support and guidance our patients need.
- Utilize Vibility Software, ensuring all patient information is accurately recorded and easily accessible.
- Conduct initial Practice Member Evaluations and help prospective members get started with their optimal wellness program.
- Additional responsibilities may include participating in community events, providing educational resources to patients, leading open Q&A sessions for our patients, and staying up-to-date with the latest research in functional medicine.
Qualifications:
- Has a passion to serve and empower people, connect on a meaningful level, cares deeply about people, is a team-player, is passionate about the mission of Carolinas Natural Health Center, demonstrates our shared core values.
- Able to work full-time; approximately 36 hours a week. We offer 4-day work weeks, Monday-Thursday, with occasional after hours or weekend events and training.
Onsite practitioner is preferred. Open to a virtual position with ability to travel at least quarterly to our - Charlotte, NC office. Additionally, travel to at least two training events annually.
- Must be a functional medicine practitioner (ND, PA, NP, DO, DC, MD, FNP, RD, CNS, RN, other).
- Comfortable interpreting and managing functional lab testing (e.g. stool, blood/urine hormones, heavy metals, environmental toxins, and mycotoxins etc.).
- Collaboratively manage patients through a team approach (with other functional medicine providers, Health Coaches & Client Experience Specialists).
- Adept at having crucial conversations to coach people forward (we train on this regularly).
- Either certified in Functional Medicine or on-track to be certified in Functional Medicine.
- Preferably at least 5 years of medical practitioner experience.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary range $60,000 – $100,000 based on education, certifications, and experience
- Opportunity for bonuses based on performance
- 4-day clinic work week

- 6 Paid Holidays per year
