BOJANA MD seeks Physician (MD/DO) for part-time telemedicine hybrid position, with the goal of expanding to full-time.
At BOJANA MD, established in 2019, we offer personalized, evidence-informed, comprehensive care to our patients. Our framework is rooted to assessing each individual’s health goals and taking a deep dive into their personal and medical story, family history, lifestyle, nutrition and environment. We implement the best of evidence-based and evidence-informed modalities that Western, Integrative and Functional Medicine have to offer to support each patient’s health goals and healthspan. We tailor the modalities we recommend to support each person’s wellbeing and goals, while carefully considering benefit vs risk, level of evidence, personal goals and values of each patient. Our care is compassionate, coordinated and in depth. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly, MD, FACP, MSc, IFMCP, MSCP, founder of the practice, is a double board certified internal medicine and integrative medicine physician. Her background prior to starting this practice was in primary care, executive health and employee health. She is a fellowship adjunct faculty/clinical mentor at Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine and mentors physicians, as well as lectures at various educational settings including medical conferences and public events.
We are an out of network practice, which means more time spent with patients and less time spent on coding and insurance reimbursement. Members of our practice have found this to be a place where they can truly nurture patient connections and personalized, meaningful care. The physician will be supported by our patient concierge and our nutritionist and health coach in administrative and nutrition/health coaching aspects of their patient care, respectively. Our team meets regularly to discuss patient cases and provide the highest quality care. The teamwork aspect is collaborative, supportive and rewarding.
Position: Integrative Medicine Physician
Type: Independent Contractor
Objectives of this role:
- Promote and maintain high standards of patient care.
- Provide outstanding professional services independently in accordance with state law.
- Assist with short-term and chronic patient care issues.
- Recommend treatment, medications, supplements, therapies, and appropriate referrals, as indicated, within the scope of your license.
- Chart patient progress and maintain detailed, accurate health records on the Practice’s electronic health record.
- Lend support to the physician(s) of the practice, collaborating with the practice team.
- Responsibly use peer-reviewed resources such as medical, peer-reviewed AI (such as OpenEvidence), as indicated, to assist but not replace medical assessment and decision making.

Requirements:
- Active/unrestricted medical license in the state of New York, a telemedicine license in Florida, and attainment of additional licenses, upon request.
- Board certification in your specialties(s) – internal medicine or family medicine.
- Minimum 3 years of experience.
- Integrative medicine fellowship training.
- IFMCP certification desirable.
- Experience in telemedicine and willingness to undergo training in telehealth platforms.
- Strong work ethic, practice with integrity.
- Active participation in the marketing of our practice.
- Collaboration in updating therapeutic protocols.
- Maintenance of a reliable schedule of office hours for patients and portal message support.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Proficiency at the level of your license in evidence-based outpatient chronic disease management and prevention, general medicine, primary care, and integrative and/or functional medicine.
- Commitment to providing ethical, compassionate, and patient-centered care.
- Knowledge and experience in integrative and functional medicine principles and holistic healthcare practices.
- Maintain a personal and professional development plan.
- Commitment to continued medical education and bringing in innovative, evidence-based, and evidence-informed practices.
- Ensuring privacy for patient care and adhering to HIPAA and any applicable regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring a secure internet connection, password-protected computer as it relates to patient care.
