Read This Before You Apply.

You went into medicine to heal people. Not to manage symptoms. Not to write the same prescriptions on a 7-minute timer. Not to work inside a system that rewards volume over outcomes and calls a patient “healthy” because their labs are technically in range — even when they feel terrible and everyone in the room knows it.

You learned the conventional system. You’re good at it. But you’ve always known it’s not the whole picture. Somewhere along the way you started asking questions your training didn’t answer: What’s actually driving this? What would fix it — not mask it? What if we treated the root cause instead of managing the symptom?

If that tension is real for you right now — if you’re carrying clinical instinct and intellectual depth that your current environment doesn’t ask you to use — we need to talk. Because we built a practice specifically to solve the problem you’re living inside.

Who Aletheia Is

Aletheia Integrative Medical exists outside the insurance system. We combine the rigor of traditional medicine with functional, holistic, and innovative approaches to deliver root-cause resolution and whole-person transformation — not holistic-only, not conventional-only, but the intentional integration of both, guided by clinical judgment and not trends.

We don’t do walk-in visits or episodic care. We partner with patients through long-term preventative pathways: Direct Primary Care Membership and Integrative Medical Intensive programs that address the full picture — hormones and metabolic health, gut health and autoimmune regulation, cognitive function and neurological wellness, longevity and health-span optimization, and athletic performance and recovery.

Our patients are high-agency adults — leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals — who take their health seriously and expect a provider who does too. They’ve often been told their labs are “normal” and their symptoms are manageable. They come to us because they want answers, a plan, and a provider who will actually partner with them. Price is not their barrier — trust and clarity are.

What This Role Actually Is

As our Integrative Medicine Provider, you are the clinical cornerstone of Aletheia. You lead patient care, own the clinical decision-making process, and deliver the kind of medicine that most patients have never experienced — and that most providers have never had the environment to practice.

This is not a high-volume role. It is a high-depth role. You will spend real time with patients. You will build treatment plans that are individualized, evidence-informed, and rooted in understanding the whole person — not just the chief complaint. You will work alongside a small, highly capable team and have direct input into how the practice grows.

Lead the Clinical Experience

  • You conduct comprehensive integrative medicine appointments — intake, assessment, root-
cause analysis, and care plan development.
  • You order and interpret advanced functional labs, diagnostics, imaging, and specialty referrals. You develop individualized, evidence-informed treatment plans across hormones, gut health, cognitive function, autoimmune regulation, longevity, and athletic recovery.
  • You oversee and authorize IV infusion protocols and therapeutic treatment programs.
  • Your patients leave their appointments with a clear plan, genuine confidence, and the experience of being truly heard and partnered with. That’s not a nice-to-have — it’s the standard.

Elevate the Team

You provide clinical direction and mentorship to the nursing and care coordination team. The
clinical staff performs at a higher level because of your presence, your standards, and your
willingness to teach. You participate in weekly team meetings — contributing to both clinical
and strategic decisions. You don’t just practice medicine. You raise the bar for everyone around
you.

Build the Practice

You contribute to the development and refinement of clinical protocols and patient programs.
You maintain clinical documentation in compliance with all regulatory standards. You embrace
AI, advanced diagnostics, new protocols, and emerging evidence — and you apply them. You’re
not looking for a place to clock in and out. You want to be part of building a model for what
healthcare can be.

Who You Are

We’re not just hiring a clinical credential. We’re hiring a person who practices medicine a
certain way — and we’re looking for someone who has always done that, even when the system
made it hard.

What you need to have:

  • Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Nebraska, in good standing
  • Clinical experience — primary care, functional medicine, or integrative health strongly
    preferred
  • A genuine foundation in or serious pursuit of integrative and functional medicine
    principles

What matters more than credentials:

  • You think in root causes. When a patient presents with fatigue, you don’t stop at the TSH.
  • You want to know why. You look at the full picture — labs, lifestyle, history, stress, sleep, gut,
hormones — and you build a plan that addresses what’s actually driving the problem.
  • You communicate in a way that builds trust. Your patients feel heard. They leave your
appointments with clarity and confidence — not confusion and a stack of prescriptions they
    don’t understand.
  • You meet people where they are.
  • You hold yourself to a standard that doesn’t require enforcement. Your documentation is
thorough. Your care plans are intentional. You don’t cut corners because you wouldn’t be able to
live with yourself if you did.
  • You’re a leader, not just a clinician. You elevate the team around you. The nursing staff performs
better when you’re in the room. You give clear direction, you train proactively, and you create
clinical confidence in the people who support your patients.
  • You embrace tools that make medicine better. AI, advanced diagnostics, new protocols,
emerging evidence — you follow it, you apply it, and you’re not threatened by it.
  • You want to build something. You’re not here for a paycheck. You’re here because you believe
healthcare can be more — and you’re willing to do the work that takes.

A Word of Honesty

This role asks a lot. Aletheia is a small, growing, high-standards practice. We are not a large system with infinite resources and established infrastructure. We are a team of A-players who move fast, think hard, and hold each other to a high bar — including clinical excellence, operational ownership, and cultural fit. The right provider will be energized by that environment. They’ll see the freedom, the depth, and the opportunity to actually practice medicine the way it should be practiced. The wrong provider will be frustrated by the pace, the breadth of responsibility, and the expectation that everyone on this team is accountable for more than their job title. We protect that culture fiercely. The right person makes the whole team better. The wrong person slows everyone down.

This is not for you if:

  • You’re most comfortable in a large system with defined lanes and established protocols you didn’t help build
  • You’re not ready to be the clinical leader — responsible for setting and maintaining the standard
  • You practice medicine primarily from symptom management rather than root-cause resolution
  • You’re looking for a role where operational involvement, team leadership, and culture don’t apply to you
  • New tools, new ideas, and constant improvement make you uncomfortable

What Success Looks Like

  • Patients leave their appointments with a clear plan, genuine confidence, and the experience of being truly heard and partnered with.
  • Treatment plan completion rates climb — patients are following through because they trust you and understand why.
  • Patient vitality, wholeness, and freedom scores trend consistently upward across your panel.
  • The clinical team performs at a higher level because of your direction, your standards, and your presence.
  • Clinical protocols and programs improve regularly — because you’re engaged, curious, and always looking for better.
  • Aletheia’s reputation in Lincoln grows on the strength of clinical outcomes and patient stories.

How We Live and Work

These aren’t values on a wall. They’re how we hire, how we lead, and how we show up every
single day.

  • Live — because our lives speak louder than our words. We pursue lifelong transformation and practice healthy rhythms over time.
  • Love — because people matter more. We know your name. We show it with a smile and go the extra mile — for our patients and for each other.
  • Learn — because excellence is not a destination, it is a journey. We stay open, humble, and curious. Candid feedback. Continuous growth.
  • Lead — because we refuse to accept the healthcare status quo. We are bold, innovative, and courageous in our pursuit of better.
  • Legacy — because life is too short to live for ourselves. We are building something bigger than any one of us.

How to Apply

Still here? Good. That tells us something about you already.
We don’t want a cover letter. We want to see how you think and how you communicate — because that’s exactly what this role requires at the highest level.

  • Step 1 — Record a short video (3–5 minutes) Use Loom, your phone, or any camera. No scripts and no retakes required — we want to see how you actually show up, not a performance. Answer both questions in the same video:
    • What drew you to integrative medicine — not philosophically, but personally? What have you
seen, experienced, or learned that made you believe this is the better way to practice?
    • Describe a patient case where conventional medicine had the answer but you knew it wasn’t
the whole answer. What did you do differently, and what happened?
  • Step 2 — Submit your CV and your video link. That’s it. No templates. No formal cover letter. Just your CV and a link to your video. If your video link is missing, your application will not be considered.  (Use the Additional Comments field in the application form to share your video link)
