Full-Time Physician, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Opening in innovative Integrative Functional Medicine Office:

Westlake Medical Arts is seeking a motivated individual for a full-time practitioner position. We are a small, private, upscale integrative functional medicine office located in West Lake Hills, a suburb of Austin, Texas.

Our approach to health and healing is to get to the source of chronic health conditions as opposed to treating symptoms with medication. We provide high touch personalized medicine to our patients.

We treat autoimmune disorders, thyroid disease, chronic pain and fatigue, IBS, Lyme, mood disorders, infertility, andropause, menopause and much more. We use an integrative approach, advanced functional lab testing, and dietary-based lifestyle changes to change our patients understanding of good health practices.

We utilize leading technologies such as Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (“HBOT”), Low Level Light Therapy and External Counter Pulsation Therapy (“ECP”) for our patients.  Our in-house infusion clinic supports our treatment plans to get our patients back to maximum health.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Seeing patients 4 clinical days out of our work week, Monday- Friday.

Reviewing intake forms

Ordering labs

Establishing and implementing patient plans

Reviewing lab results

Answering clinical staff/ patient questions

Renewing prescriptions with clinical staff between appointments

Preferred skills/attributes to possess for success:

–     Passion and commitment to Integrative and Functional Medicine, not just for your patients but as a way of life for yourself. You must practice what you preach!

–       Completion of IFM’s Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice (AFMCP) course.

–       Completion of all IFM Advanced Practice Modules (or working toward completing all modules for IFM certification).

–       Previous experience using integrative and functional medicine in a clinical setting.

Required skills/experience:

Degree from an accredited university

Training in emergency medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, or OB/GYN

License to practice in the state of Texas (or intent to obtain license before hire date)

Current DEA and NPI Certificate of Registration
