Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Functional Medicine Provider (NP/PA/MD/DO) to join our team. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and create personalized treatment plans for patients facing chronic health challenges, including hormonal imbalances, metabolic dysfunction, gut health issues, and other complex conditions. You’ll use a functional medicine approach to address the root causes of illness and restore balance through integrative therapies and lifestyle interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including detailed health history, lab analysis, and diagnostic tests.
- Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating nutrition, lifestyle changes, supplementation, and, when appropriate, BHRT.
- Educate patients on preventive health practices and strategies to manage chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with other team members, including massage therapists and wellness practitioners, to provide a holistic approach to patient care.
- Stay current on the latest research and developments in functional medicine, hormone therapy, and related fields.
- Document patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), Medical Doctor (MD), or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
- Certification or experience in functional or integrative medicine preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in analyzing lab results, creating individualized protocols, and patient education.
- Experience with Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) is a plus.
- Passion for working with patients who feel underserved by conventional medicine and a commitment to addressing root causes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
