Family Medicine NP/PA Specializing in Integrative and Functional Medicine

We are seeking a passionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with training in integrative and functional medicine, interested in working with whole families. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic about exploring root causes of health issues.

We are a private, insurance-based family practice dedicated to providing holistic, patient-centered care. In addition to comprehensive primary care, our practice specializes in gut health, thyroid health, metabolic health, immune health, complex chronic disease management, hormone optimization, and regenerative medicine.

We believe that functional medicine is the future of primary care.

Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct thorough assessments and examinations of patients (newborn through adult).
– Develop personalized treatment plans using integrative and functional medicine approaches.
– Collaborate with patients and their families to provide informed consent and medical autonomy for decision-making.
– Educate patients and their families on nutrition and lifestyle modifications to optimize health.

Qualifications:
– Current NP or PA license in Virginia.
– Experience as a NP or PA strongly preferred.
– Certification through The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) preferred.
– Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable.
– Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced office.
– Desire to stay current on the latest advancements in integrative and functional medicine practice.
– Desire for work that is meaningful and makes a difference in the lives of families.
