Experienced Functional Medicine Nutritionist/RD/CCN

LifeSpan medicine, a progressive concierge functional medicine practice, is looking for a dynamic, passionate nutritionist/RD/CCN to join our practice to support our clients and their nutrition programs.  We are looking for someone who is passionate about food, nutrition and helping people. You will be our expert in nutrition and nutritional therapies; responsible for constantly learning new information and helping us integrate treatments into our practice so we stay at the forefront of clinical healthcare.  We distinguish ourselves by taking exceptional care of our clients and doing whatever is necessary to support them in their success.  We also rely heavily on the expert clinical opinions, judgements and knowledge of our practitioners.  You must be exceptional at what you do to join our team.  The position will require you to build strong, positive relationships with people and create nutritional programs that people will follow and that get results.  You will be working with a wide variety of people from high net-worth business executives to kid and moms and grandmoms.  We have a great office and support team just waiting for the right practitioner.

General responsibilities:

• Evaluating patients, creating nutrition plan, following up and getting results
• Daily client contact for nutritional counseling, education and treatment plans
• Creating customized meal plans, menus and other individualized program for clients
• Creating meal choices from restaurant menus
• Supplements recommendations and plans
• Working with client chefs and meal delivery services to prepare meals for clients
• Medical documentation and progress notes for each visit
• Reviewing and interpreting lab results
• Ongoing support and monitoring of clients programs, progress and success in office and by phone

• Digestive/gut problem, microbiome
• Nutrient deficiencies
• Sleep disorders
• Autoimmune issues
• Body composition and metabolic issues
• Sports nutrition
• Inflammation
• Cellular restoration
• Mitochondrial function
• Detoxification

Qualifications:

• Positive, dynamic experienced professional
• IFM certification preferred
• Passionate about helping your patients be successful and a willingness to do whatever it takes
• Passionate about nutrition, functional medicine and helping people
• Must be supportive of bioidentical hormone replacement and have a knowledge and understanding of general clinical medicine, treatments and therapies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Adept at working closely with other physicians
• Minimum 5 years experience in functional medicine
