Role Overview:Â We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Medical Director / Nurse Practitioner to lead our medical team and provide exceptional patient care. This role involves overseeing experienced clinicians and clinic managers, directly engaging with patients to deliver our range of services, and contributing to the growth and excellence of our clinic. Training in our specialized services will be provided. Additionally, there is potential for ownership in the clinic for candidates interested in a long-term partnership.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership:Â Supervise and mentor medical staff, including experienced clinicians and clinic managers, to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
Patient Care:Â Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide treatments including ozone therapy, IV nutrient therapy, peptide treatments, HRT, and interpret advanced functional medicine tests.
Program Development:Â Collaborate with the team to develop and enhance treatment protocols and wellness programs.
Compliance:Â Ensure all medical practices comply with state and federal regulations and maintain the highest standards of patient safety and confidentiality.
Continuous Improvement:Â Stay updated with the latest advancements in regenerative and functional medicine to integrate evidence-based practices into patient care.
Operational Management:Â Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient care and optimize clinic operations.
Staff Recruitment and Scheduling:Â Recruit qualified personnel, oversee staff schedules, and ensure adequate staffing levels.
Performance Evaluation:Â Monitor staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement disciplinary actions when necessary.
Training and Development:Â Provide clinical training and continuous development opportunities for staff.
Qualifications:
Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a valid Nurse Practitioner license in Colorado.
Experience:Â Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in functional or integrative medicine.
Certifications:Â Current BLS/ACLS certification; additional certifications in functional medicine are a plus.
Skills:Â Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to holistic patient care.
Technical Proficiency:Â Proficient in intravenous insertion, Google Docs, and electronic medical record systems.
Physical Requirements: Ability to withstand a 8-10 hour day of physical activity within the clinic setting.
