​​The Opportunity:
We are hiring a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine with a passion for offering comprehensive and personalized medical care. This person has previous training and experience in Functional Medicine and feels excited about being part of a small, passionate team. This will begin as a part-time role with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position.
What you’ll do:
- Provide 1:1 patient care, in-person and virtually
- Provide thoughtful, thorough and personalized care that aligns with the approach and guidelines of the practice
- Complete charting and follow-up notes in a timely and accurate manner
- Follow organizational policies, procedures, and protocols
- Assist in the resolution of patient inquiries and requests
- Work closely with our team to ensure a cohesive and elevated patient experience
Requirements:
- An active license in the state of New York
- Board certification in internal medicine, family medicine or other primary care fields
- 3+ years of experience providing patient care
- 2+ years of experience with functional medicine (training and/or practicing)
- Strong leadership qualities, emotional intelligence, organizational skills and attention to detail
- Technologically equipped and comfortable using an EMR
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excitement to collaborate with a team
