We utilize specialty labs for testing as well, so knowledge and experience with comprehensive GI, hormone mapping, mycotoxin, Lyme, tox panel testing are essential. Functional medicine is not something learned overnight. An interest in it is not enough, and at this time, we need someone who is not brand new to functional medicine.

Urgently Hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) that THRIVES on a holistic, root-cause, approach to medicine and offering individualized care and care plans. We are a faith-based patient-focused, private functional medicine practice with an alternative approach that allows our patients to have the freedom of choice.

MUST have experience as a Nurse Practitioner with an understanding and interest in expanding your knowledge of Functional Medicine testing and treatment protocols. We utilize specialty labs for testing as well, so knowledge and experience with comprehensive GI, hormone mapping and tox panel testing are essential. Functional medicine is not something learned over night. An interest in it is not enough And at this time we need someone who is not brand new to functional medicine. Preferred candidate will be proficient in treatment of Functional Medicine basics PLUS: hormones, adrenals, bioidenticals, complex autoinflammatory disease, Lyme, mycotoxins, gut health etc. We have thousands of customizable protocols developed to implement as needed for our unique patient base.

We offer preventive services, disease management, hormonal and mental health services to ages newborn and up; utilizing lifestyle, nutrition, supplements, alternative medicine therapies and modern medicine as appropriate. You will be required to demonstrate your Functional knowledge and application of during the the interview process.

Expectations:

• 24-32 patient contact hours weekly (some remote) (3-4 Days: 8 hours each, not including lunch, from 9-5pm) with weekends/holidays off.
• • (*Part time 24 contact hours an option)
• Provide primary care services to patients of all ages
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and assessments
• Thorough chronological timeline interviews for new patients with inventory of systems and planning
• Investigate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic illnesses Looking for underlying causes
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies As well as send-out specialty functional labs as described above
• Prescribe medications and other treatments. Knowledge and use of compounding medications
• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Provide patient education on disease prevention, health promotion, and management of chronic conditions
• Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Qualifications:

•  Valid certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) *REQUIRED*
• Strong clinical knowledge and skills in various areas highlighted above.
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-based environment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care.
