Integrative Medicine Physician (MD/DO) – Part-Time, 1099 Remote or Onsite Physician | Medical Director (MD/DO) Role

We are seeking an experienced Integrative Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to serve as a part-time Physician seeing patients and as Medical Director for our established and growing integrative medicine practice. This is a 1099 independent contractor role and may be performed remotely or onsite, depending on the physician’s location and preference.

In this role, the physician will provide clinical skills in seeing patients as well as leadership and oversight for a multidisciplinary care team in several of our protocols that includes Nurse Practitioners and Registered Dietitians and will act as the collaborating physician for nurse practitioners within the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a contributing physician supporting our patients in their integrative medical journey and act as Medical Director, providing clinical oversight and guidance for the practice.
• Act as collaborating physician for nurse practitioners in accordance with state regulations.
• Support high-quality, patient-centered care grounded in integrative medicine principles.
• Collaborate with nutrition professionals and clinical staff to ensure cohesive, team-based care.
• Participate in clinical protocol development and quality assurance as needed
• Provide physician availability for consultation and collaboration with the care team

Qualifications

• MD or DO with training or experience in integrative medicine
• Active medical license in Massachusetts and Connecticut strongly preferred
• Ability to obtain licensure in Massachusetts and Connecticut is required.  Insurance-contracted preferred but not mandatory. Additional state licensure a plus
• Prior experience working with or supervising nurse practitioners
• Comfort working in a multidisciplinary, integrative care environment
• Excellent communication and collaborative leadership skills.
