Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner—Functional & Integrative Medicine

The Spring Center is currently seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our practice and offer their expertise and compassionate care to our existing patients. Experience in functional and integrative medicine is foundational, knowledge of environmental medicine, mold and chronic infections is preferred.

Our practice was established over 10 years ago in Costa Mesa, California. Dr. McCann is on the medical staff of Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach. We provide patients with primary health care, specialized medical consultations and lifestyle evaluations in an outpatient setting. We strive to provide comprehensive and in-depth personalized care in a spa-like, nurturing environment. Our practice treats a broad spectrum of patients, including patients with complex medical conditions, autoimmune disorders, adrenal dysfunction, gastrointestinal issues, hormones dysregulation, Lyme and co-infections, mold exposure, environmental toxin exposures and mystery disorders. We also provide primary care for adults and consultations for pediatric patients.

Dr McCann has board certifications in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Integrative Medicine through the American Board of Physician Specialties. Dr. McCann studied and worked as a residential fellow with Dr. Andrew Weil at the University of Arizona and the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine. She is also certified by the Institute of Functional Medicine. She is a Board Member of ISEAI – International Society for Environmentally Acquired Illness and the American Academy of Environmental Medicine and an international lecturer on the topics of Mold Illness, Lyme disease and Associated Diseases and Environmental Medicine.

Position Offers:

Collaborative team approach w/mentoring by an experienced Functional & Integrative Medicine Physician.
Longer patient visits: 1 hour Initial consults and 30 minute follow-ups.

Qualifications:

Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the State of California.
Experienced in patient care – minimum of 3 years.
Training in Functional and/or Integrative Medicine.
