The Morrison Center was founded in 2004, by Dr. Jeffrey Morrison, trained in Family practice and Environmental Medicine and board certified in Integrative Medicine.
At The Morrison Center, we believe in the body’s innate ability to heal itself given the right circumstances. Through diet optimization, detoxification and identifying underlying causes, we seek to help patients on their healing process.
The Morrison Center has become well known for alleviating symptoms from unknown causes and for treating and reversing the effects of degenerative diseases.
The ideal candidate will be a committed, energetic physician who is passionate about integrative medicine, believes in the Morrison Center’s philosophy around patient care, and seeks an opportunity to be an integral team-player in a rapidly growing medical practice.
The candidate will be required to provide the full scope of patient care services and play a leadership role in supporting the growth of the practice. Primary responsibilities include:
Patient care services that fall under the candidate’s training, including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care and health maintenance to the patient. In this capacity, the candidate is expected to be familiar with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the Center and work collaboratively to achieve them. The candidate must be cognizant of, and comply with, all Center policies and procedures, as well as pertinent state and federal regulations.
Developing an advanced understanding of integrative/functional medicine testing protocols and treatment strategies. This includes rapidly getting up to speed on existing Morrison Center testing & treatment strategies, staying abreast of new testing and treatment strategies that enhance patient care, learning new techniques such as injection techniques, and educating non-medical staff on testing protocols and treatment strategies.
Support the implementation of strategies to grow the practice and continue to enhance patient care services and patient experience. This includes hands-on involvement in defining new treatment strategies and patient services, proactively providing input on how to improve existing patient care services and patient experience, and driving operational excellence. In this capacity, the candidate is expected to attend and actively participate in staff meetings, help coach and mentor more junior medical staff and non-medical staff, and perpetuate the Morrison Center culture and values.
Be an active team member within The Morrison Center and support the other physicians and medical staff to provide patient care to all Morrison Center patients. This includes, but is not limited to returning patient calls, prescription refills, assisting with letters of medical necessity, and responding to patient emails.
Bachelor’s degree from a leading university
Medical school completed
One year pre-medicine university studies completed
