Robinson Family Clinic is a family medicine clinic that provides a combination of traditional and holistic care to adults and children. Our mission strives to provide integrative traditional and non-traditional healing practices in a safe, non-judging, compassionate and understanding environment that supports and inspires individuals and their families in attaining their ideal health, well-being and quality of life.

We offer various IV therapies, frequency specific microcurrent, ultraviolet blood irradiation, blood-draws for labs, immunizations, circumcisions and simple office procedures. We are a growing medical practice with a small family friendly atmosphere.

Robinson Family Clinic is seeking to immediately fill a Locum Tenens NP/MD/DO position to address the needs of our patient population and growing practice. We currently have one office location serving Central Florida.

The ideal candidate MUST be Board-certified in Family Medicine, with eligibility to license in Florida. A DEA license is also required, but if you do not have one, we can help you obtain it. Preference will go to candidates with direct experience in functional/integrative medicine; however, we do offer on the job training. Benefit package available.

 Job/Position Summary:  The Family Medicine/Integrative or Functional Provider (MD/DO/NP) position plays an imperative role in providing top-level comprehensive and critical primary healthcare and providing optimal treatment plans for all patients. As a key team member of qualified providers, the Family Medicine/Integrative or Functional Provider (MD/DO/NP) strives to efficiently and effectively navigate patient health concerns with acknowledgement and validation, actively listening and hearing what each patient is conveying. At the same time, the practitioner works closely with and mentors support staff, such as their assigned medical assistant, to ensure this quality level of care. The

The practitioner serves as an active participant in supporting, exercising and adhering to Robinson Family Clinic’s vision, mission, core values, goals and objectives from an organizational standpoint; in addition to the Patient Bill of Rights and Patient-Provider Responsibilities from a provider, patient and medical care standpoint.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Responsible for holding the highest self-accountability in complete and comprehensive clinical care and oversight of patients to include conducting thorough physical examinations; documenting comprehensive medical histories; and ordering lab work and other necessary tests
  • Manage in-office emergency medical situations that arise with calm and clarity, reaching out for assistance if and as needed
  • Act as the practice’s Clinical Manager when Dr. Jafri is not in the office
  • Responsible for leading, motivating and developing others by mentoring and teaching new practitioners, as well as assist assigned medical assistants and other medical staff with learning steps to enhance patient level of care
  • Train assigned medical assistants to your customized way of practicing medicine, for a smoother and more efficient flow of patients

Qualifications:

  • Superior analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experience working with a clinic approach, in which providers care for all patients as a coordinated team
  • Respectful and mindful with both patients and co-workers, exercising sound cultural sensibilities
  • Exceptional deep listening and interpersonal relationship/communication skills with patients, staff and other providers
  • Excellent eye for detail and time management skills, with a systematic and structured approach to medicine
  • Exceptional follow-through on patient care, from initial intake through to completion of office visit, including ordering diagnosis tests; developing a treatment plan; and informing patient of scheduling any follow-up appointments
  • Honed ability to work well independently as well as a collaborative team with both providers and especially support staff
  • Experience working within a team and effectively maintaining balance between yourself and the staff in terms of communication and job demands
  • Integrative or functional medicine experience preferred, though training will be provided

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years of clinic experience
  • Candidate must be Board-certified in Family Medicine with eligibility to license in Florida
  • DEA license required, but if you do not have one, we can help you obtain one
