The Integrative Health and Wellbeing program at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Weill Cornell Medicine, is seeking a full time, licensed Clinical Psychologist with a specialization in health psychology and expertise in working with medically ill patients, to mitigate psychological symptoms as well as to improve coping and increase overall resilience and well‐being. The ideal candidate would have advanced knowledge and training in individual and group cognitive behavior therapy and other integrative and evidence‐based approaches, including mindfulness based stress reduction.
This practitioner will function as part of an interdisciplinary team that includes physicians, nutritionist, mind body therapist and acupuncturist, to advance the psychological support and health of individuals as well as their families. This is a unique opportunity to participate in the initial phase of the program with great potential for professional growth and leadership opportunities.
Minimum Requirements: Applicants must have a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an APA‐ accredited program and NY state licensure. Experience with CBT and mindfulness techniques required. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience.
